# Atari-2600-EmuPlus

An emulator to emulate the experiance of an Atari 2600, not the games. Replace the old Atari 2600 internal hardware with a RPi!

Designed to read and play Atari cartridges directly from the GPIO pins as well as handling the Atari 2600 physical hardware switches also wired to the GPIO pins. (Requires IO expansion). Stand-by for wiring diagrams, PCB design files, and 3D print file (Cartridge dock).

Code and file clean-up still needed, **Atari 2600 EmuPlus is very much in the alpha stage still!**
